Fort Myers -- Part 2

From the last episode... err... I'm too lazy to remember or look back at what I wrote... It some how continued from here...

After boarding the flight, which is...
And they travel to these locations...
And soon when we arrive, we finally get to rest where my travelling pal finally get to climb out of the back to get some air...
Miseries doesn't just end like that... we're soon to meet with our new employer and things are just coming... We're 1st required to fill in a form for our airport pass... Then we're brought to make the pass... but sadly we're not able to do it because we reach the airport at around 1400++ as our flight captain went missing... ow... wait... I forgot to tell this funny thing about the flight...

Because the flight is at 1300, so we are rushed into the airport not to say that our girls gave us some problems which we don't find it interesting... so that is not going up here... which if any of them is to read this then I'll be dead... which I'm already half dead by telling that they give us some problems... actually is plenty of them... and it's just only 2 weeks plus...

After rushing into the airport, we waited for the flight to fly... but the captain went missing... which this is the thing we heard... "We're still waiting for our captain for the flight to begin... luckily it's only a 45 minutes flight, so you all don't have to feel bad..." (Or something almost like this) The only thought that come into mind is that either the captain fall into the toilet bowl while shitting or his mistress just wouldn't let his kiss end that easily...Or what so ever thing might happened to him... which we waited him for like at least 20 minutes... @_@

As the office for the airport card is not far away from the HMSHost office, we just walk there... But we're being rejected of our application because we reach like 1545 then... Which they close at 1600 on Friday... What a day... Well, it doesn't really matter to us any way... because having the card or not doesn't really matters as long as we have a job... and we can fulfil the 40 hours minimum of working hours...

Something great about the day is that we're being treated with good food from Chili'sToo... A total of 11 of us dined without having any second thought about the bill... since it's a treat... Which I head the bill goes like over 200bucks... But is it possible? Each of us just called a dish that is less than 10 and I called 2... I did not take any picture(s) because I just wanna eat and too lazy to take any pictures...

And soon after eating, we're being cabbed back to the hotel that is freaking 30minutes away!!! And not to forget... we waited for like quite some time for the cab to come and get us too... that is like so shit... Thinking that this is a airport, cab service should be easy to get... but it just have to be so long for them to come... (There's another story for this cabby on part 3 later...)

After reaching the hotel, separated because only one cab that came after the long wait and the rest have to wait like another 20 minutes before they reach the hotel to meet with us...

Something happened while we're in the hotel before we get the room and managed to sleep as we have to work on the next day... But I'm not really going to blog about the nasty things that happened among us... the Malaysians because it's just not worthy of doing so... but something will be talked about later about the Brazilians in our group... it should be pretty funny... ^_^

Any how, before dinner, while waiting for out working clothings to be brought to us, we went around hanging and getting some rest... While resting, N-G Bang fell asleep and was caught live on video by abc7 news... We don't really know why they are there... but they caught her right in the face... I'll try to upload it to some video site and then share it in my blog so all of you can see that funny thing... ha.a!!! you'll never believe that it happened... this is just so funny... ha.a!!!

Ft. Myers -- Part 1

This is a big town, located south west of Orlando and north west of Miami, north or Tampa...

It comes one day when 2 new Brazilian came over for the same program as we are and our employer suddenly called and told us that Ft. Myers needed people for their StarBuckerniers that is due to open this week... but some how later it had been delayed...

And because of that, we had been rushed to fly over to Ft. Myers the day after which is Friday(01/12/2006)... Everything is in a big mess because everyone did not finish packing or arranging their stuffs... everything went up into a big fuss when the hotel we stayed at -- Days Inn a.k.a. Quality Inn (think they joined another league of hotels with because their service is so bad they got kicked out of the previous one...) -- refused to send us to the airport giving us tons of nonsense just not wanting to use another shuttle to send everyone to the airport... actually they purposely not wanting to send us... which is part of our conclusions...

We're lucky to reach the airport in around 11am as was told by our employer... but anyhow... a girls forgot to take her wallet and mobile... that is when things start to run wild again... They rush back to pick up their things and almost not able to make it back because the stupid inn fucking not wanting to take them again... which caused them to reach at 12 something noon... where our flight is at 1pm... While everyone is waiting for the girls, I was chatting with Vanessa Tan just to make sure I don't fall asleep... I can't risk falling alsepp even if there's people around me... because I'll feel sucked...

Daily Job Description...

Sorry for doing this late... as I'm now in Fort Myers instead of Orlando... I'll tell the story in the next post...

Well, as most of you know that I am working in StarBuckerniers on GraveYard shift... which is the 3rd shift or midnight shift... Which pays me 9 per hour instead of 8 that had been stated in the contract...

Every working night I will be clocking in around 2100 and then the only 2 choice of work for me then is either clean up the garbage or start making coffee drinks... If it's garbage cleaning that had been chosen, then me and a pal will go check on all garbage bins and change the plastic bag in it taking the one filled with garbage out and collect them in a bigger bin and then throw all of them together at the designated location given...

As you all know how drinks are made, so there's no need for further explanation... other than if you had never been to any CoffeeBeanies or StarBuckerniers... You can personally post a reply message or send me an email... I would be glad to tell you how things are done behind the bar...

Normally we would serve customers up till 0000 or 0100 the next day before they all went disappeared or there is no more flights... Soon when that time come... we're ordered to refill all the pastries, cups, sugars, milk, and what ever that needed to be refill... While some are refilling, the rest would be cleaning the coffee machines, frappuccino dispenser, and some other kind of cleaning that is needed...

Time normally pass super slow during the cleaning time... I don't really understand why... but it just seemed so slow... And normally during that time, Angel, one of our male colleague will do most of the outside cleaning and refilling slowly... It seemed like he actually enjoys doing everything slow just so that time will pass nicely... Just as he finished all the outside jobs, time would normally come to around 0400... But when he's not doing it, then it will be me and my pal that will be doing it...

Soon as time pass, all those airport workers that had finished their shift or is going to have their shift begins will stop by and grab their daily shots of coffee drinks to begin or to end their day... That is normally like 0400 till 0500...

While workers and travellers came by to get their shots, replacement workers will slowly comes in and get into their post and soon replacing us... Where our shift will end at 0530... but at times we try to lengthen our time and not clock out until being forced to...

Soon after that we'll use our break pass to get some meals for dinner of the night... and the only choice... Chick-Fil-A... I don't know if they have a web site... but I just don't care... All they serve is chicken and chicken and chicken... Due to the good service provided, we always go back...

That wraps up the whole daily job that I done in StarBuckernier, Orlando International Airport...
