TOM & JERRY --> Itchy & Scratchy

I know most the 2 name, Tom & Jerry. Those were the famous cartoon character who rules most know about them’s childhood which includes me.

TOM, a cat, that likes to chase JERRY, the mouse, around and always wanted to consume him. The story keeps on going and repeating even up until today, especially in Cartoon Network.

So, what is it all about for TOM to chase JERRY? Because TOM is a bad cat that likes to hurt JERRY? Every single child that watches this will agree for the previous statement. Do you know why? Because they are still Children and their brain had not yet developed for the real world.

As an adult now, you should know how to think and for sure if you think about that show, you will know that the children’s thinking is totally false.

Let’s start with a basic storyline that I just accidentally watch on TV today. TOM was playing tennis against another cat for a championship. But how come. Strangely that JERRY was in the show? JERRY was not even competing for the cup.

JERRY is actually making the condition worst. He is the culprit behind the fight between the 2 cats. He helped both cats defeating each others and eventually he make both cats suffered and in the end, he took the cup as the champion.

JERRY is a bad mouse. He always annoyed TOM which makes TOM angry and wished to get rid of him. For why he do it, is not what I know as I still have no clue why he wanted to hurt TOM so much. But truly, Jerry is a threat to children’s thinking. They, the cartoonist, portrayed how a tiny little mouse can be so furious and dangerous towards a big cat.

In another way, it portrayed bad moral to the children, teaching them how to do bad things like what JERRY do to harm the innocents, which is TOM in this case.

I do not call for a ban in this show. Instead, they should include moral values at the end of the show and teach children of the “YES” and “NO” to do. If they always end the show with JERRY always doing the bad things towards TOM, children will think that what JERRY do is correct and will follow what he did towards other weaker children.

Children should not be engaged towards cartoons that do not show good moral values which will bring more violence towards their thinking and brain development. They should be shown with good moral or acting value cartoons like Scooby Doo, which are crime busters, Samurai Jack, which shows good value and fighting for justice, Wild Torn Berries, which shows love for animals and family values, and much more.

Cartoons listed above are not because I have great likes for them or try to promote them, but they did bring good values. By the way, for those Simpson’s fans, you should know Itchy & Scratchy which resembles TOM & JERRY but in a more horrible and terrible ways, but always in the show, the Mouse [which I have no idea who’s who] is the wrong one.
